About Us

I am a 2003 graduate of Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine. It is my desire to develop long-standing relationships with my clients and their pets, and become a part of the community in which I live and practice in.

I grew up in Western NY, but came to the Pacific Northwest nearly 20 years ago. I cannot imagine living anywhere else. In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time reading, and running.

The Cat Clinic of NE Seattle was established in 1995 by Dr. Joe Romatowski. For the past 16 years he has served the cats of the NE area of Seattle. He has recently retired.

Dr. Kathryn Schade purchased the clinic in Spring of 2011 and will work to continue provide the same excellent care given over the years. We will take time to get to know each patient and their family. We respect our clients and work hard to tailor our care to individual needs.
